Ok, well what can I say... I've optimized BigRRed and
and Unreal. And you won't believe this! It now runs
[need I say much] smoother than on an equivalent Monster
3D with same specs (K6-200). But then again this is
with lower detail textures (high detail texturing and
volumetric lighting seems to cause strange artificats).
Read the settings as I posted in Unreal, but now edit
the bigrred.ini like mine:
[General]
LogMode=0
LfbBuffermode=1
NoFog=0
do not add or remove anything from the above. In the
Display settings set SlowVideoBuffering = False. Make
sure curved surfaces is set to false as well. Now
it should be damn smooth. This will remove the *huge-
unneccessary log* (which bogs down the hdd) as well...
=)

P.S.
Thanks again to the BigRRed development team... the
Glide -> RRedline is not only theoretically possible,
it is already working w/o the theory part ;)
Marvin - Please release 4.1 ASAP to see if fox/trans-
parency, etc. works!
